Kurt has been an avid collector of anime since 1999 when he was in middle school and has been a host of panels on numerous topics at conventions since 2005. You may have seen him hosting such fun and popular convention panels like: Awesomely Bad Japanese Music Videos, Anime Adaptations of Western Sci-Fi and Fantasy Literature, and Ugly Giant Robots Arbitrarily Ranked among many others.
The Museum has begun a dedicated project of not only discussing anime's history in home video releases over the last 50 years, but to also share his passion of collecting physical media and the medium he's been a fan of since his childhood.
He is also a huge fan of the 1984 cult classic film Streets of Fire.
The Museum is ran by a group of family and long-time friends, without their help and hard work, it would not be possible to make this project run. The crew is made up of both family and friends who have worked on various panels with Kurt for over 15 years. The crew has helped provide not just their own items for the Museum, but making great video presentations, art, and more for the Museum. Without their help and support, the Museum could not have happened.
