In 2023, a long time anime convention attendee and panelist decided he not only wanted to talk about the various home video formats anime has been released on in the past 50 years, but also share it all in person too. Thus the idea of the Anime Home Video Museum was born to share the love of the anime medium on home video and showcasing it to the community at large. The Museum is able and willing to be a part of your anime convention or event, so check out the site to see what we have to offer!
11/23/2025: This page is a work in progress, please bare with us as we get it up and running!
Coming Soon: Pages showcasing highlights of the collection, a database of the Museum's collection, FAQ for item donations, convention photo page, and more.

The Anime Home Video Museum is a fan operated project to share the history of both anime on home video and the numerous formats these releases were put on with working AV equipment as well.
The Museum collection holds well over 150 anime releases across over a dozen different formats with numerous rare formats and releases from 8mm film reels, analog video and discs, digital video, handheld portable devices, and high definition and 4K UHD releases.

The Museum's Goal
We want to eventually provide a full gallery of the collection to be viewed online with information on the various formats and releases as well and to continue to make the Museum an in-person experience that fans both new and old can enjoy and interact with. It's fun to collect these things, but it's even better to share it with others.
Help Support the Museum
You can help support the Museum by either contacting us via email with donations of physical items or financially at the links below. Note: With physical item donations, we will eventually have a FAQ page to help with any questions on that front. Stay tuned as we work on getting this site up and running.
